	<title>IWM 'Social Interpretation' iPhone and Android App Announcement</title>
	<description>We are proud to announce Gooii are developing an exciting new iPhone and Android app, for the Imperial War Museum&amp;rsquo;s &amp;lsquo;Social Interpretation&amp;rsquo; project. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The app, programmed natively for each device, starts with a QR code scanned from within the museum space. Once an object is scanned, information about that artifact is loaded into the handset, which the visitor can then comment on, collect and share via the IWM website, Twitter and Facebook.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For a more technical run down on the development process so far, please visit the IWM blog.</description>

	<description>Connecting Dance is an innovative new website that aims to unite the dance world and make it easier for everyone interested in dance to find out about dance schools, dance groups and dancers. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Using the existing Connecting Dance corporate identity, the site was designed and programmed entirely in-house and features an events calendar, integrated Facebook app, news system, advertising facility and a powerful search interface. 	<title>Portfolio: Royal Museums Greenwich 'Collections Online' Website and Touch Screen Pods</title>
	<description>The Royal Museums Greenwich (RMG) is the largest institution of its kind in the world, with over 2,000,000 items related to seafaring, navigation and astronomy in its care. We are committed to improving public access to these collections and the expansion of online access forms a key part in this policy.
Gooii&amp;nbsp; were commisioned to produced a custom website and content management system, with Google Web Toolkit Widgets. Gooii also programmed the interactive touch screen pods, that can be found in the 'Sammy Ofer' wing at the Greenwich Museum.

	<title>Portfolio: History's Heroes Website</title>
	<description>This is a site about heroes but you won't find Batman or the Incredible Hulk here, you'll find people who really did exist and made their mark on history.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Built using a bespoke content management system, all programming, design and illustration was produced entirely in-house. The website, aimed at 11-14 year olds, features information, quizes, a 'Speech Maker' application and Flash activities. The site also includes an interactive voting system, allowing visitors to decide if the historical figures featured really were heroes or not.

Containing over 75 words, with colourful illustrations and sounds, The Fab-Phonics 'Road Block' is designed to aid the development of young readers. This innovative and fun app focuses on building fluency in reading and spelling CVC (Consonant Vowel Consonant) words. The app can also be used to help teach English as a foreign language, or as a tool for adults learning to read.
The Fab-Phonics 'Road Block' is available now and is free for both the iPhone and iPad.
UPDATE: 'Road Block' is now the no.1 featured app in Apple Education's 'New and Noteworthy' section, for both the iPhone and iPad. The app was also downloaded over 1000 times in the first day of sale, a great start for this new series.</description>

Underneath the hood we have re-engineered the whole thing to make it faster and more expandable. It also has some great new features including a JSON API for external developers to use and a customisable widget which can be used to embed the gallery in external sites.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;An expanded 'My albums' for logged in users has made it even easier to upload images, tag and organise them. With 20,000 high quality images free for educational use, the NEN Gallery is a great free resource containing features that can be re-used and integrated into other resources worldwide.
