Puffin Cam
Posted by Phil, 06th May 2009As part of the ever growing SEGFL range of Microsites, Puffin Cam broadcasts live pictures from the small island of Burhou, just off the coast of Alderney. The project was produced by Gooii in collaboration with The Wildlife Trusts and Alderney Wildlife Trust and has been made possible with support from Airtel-Vodafone, The States of Alderney, South East Grid for Learning (SEGfL) and Sesys.
Unlocking Archives
Posted by Phil, 27th February 2008Produced for The National Archives, English Heritage and the British Film Institute in association with SEGfL, ‘Unlocking Archives’ uses documents, photographs and film to demonstrate the exciting possibilities that online archives can offer. The site was designed and built by Gooii and has been such a success that Phase two of the site has already been commissioned, just months after the fantastic reception it received at BETT 2008.

SEGfL - Bird Box Project
Posted by Phil, 12th February 2008The Bird Box project provides schools with an opportunity to share video and data streams collected from nesting boxes fitted with video cameras, and other data gathering equipment. Gooii produced both the website and the Flash applications that allow for the streaming of webcams throughout the region. A moderated forum allows schools to chat about their results and discuss how to get the most out of the project.

SEGfL
Posted by Phil, 12th February 2008SEGfL's key aim is to connect every school in the region to broadband services which are both fit for purpose and sustainable: broadband services that can facilitate digital communications in all areas of the curriculum and every aspect of school life. Gooii designed and produced the SEGfL site, with a bespoke Content Management System, allowing them to update the site quickly and easily. The site also allows SEGfL to add news, events, case studies and events to the site via the CMS as well as a forum with various levels of access privileges.
