27th April-1st May 2009 saw Britain's first ever 'Walk to Work Week' and Gooii were the company chosen to produce this innovative webesite. The site allowed users to track their walking distances, find out how many calories they burned and to see how walking reduced their carbon footprint. The site also encouraged healthy competition among workplaces and colleagues, by allowing people to compare their walking efforts, as well as seeing the effect the nation had on the environment and the country's health by walking to work this week.
